School’s Mission

The Oaks School is a progressive, independent TK–6 day school located in Hollywood, deeply committed to a child-centered education. Small class sizes, inquiry-based learning, and multiple perspectives are central to how we teach. We believe students learn best when their ideas are taken seriously, when they are encouraged to think critically, and when they are supported in constructing their own understanding. Our campus, with its beautiful historic buildings, outdoor green spaces, art, music, Maker studios, and play areas enhances both academic and social-emotional growth.
