When
During this immersive workshop, facilitators will challenge you with tasks that simulate how it feels to read, write, and process language when living with dyslexia and/or other language-based learning differences (LD). Discover how your LD child, grandchild, student, patient, or client thinks and learns differently and what sorts of struggles they may encounter in everyday environments that favor neurotypical learners. This program is designed for family members, healthcare practitioners, or educational professionals who work with pre-college students who have a diagnosed or suspected language-based LD. Join the e-list today for a chance to participate in the Experience Dyslexia (TM) simulation—designed by the International Dyslexia Association, Northern California—which shines a light on the urgency of meeting the needs of LD learners.
